My journey to Personal Training & Pilates

Hailing from Dublin and based in London for over twenty years, I come from a variety of professional backgrounds including fashion & making music, as well as live touring and production.

After suffering a herniated disc over as decade ago, I was made painfully aware that, while I may have looked relatively fit on the outside, I was severely lacking the strength needed to bounce back from my injury. After more than six months of relentless physio and virtually no ability to exercise at all, I made the decision to hang up my touring boots to study and qualify to be a personal trainer in 2015.

This decision was as much about my desire to improve my own physical health as train other people, so my studies were a win-win for me. I cut my coaching teeth at my brother’s bespoke gym in Hamburg before coming back to North London to set up my own business.

Always enthusiastic to keep learning, I continued my movement studies with the Gold Standard of pilates education, Polestar Pilates. This discipline not only made me a smarter PT but taught me a more holistic approach to all things fitness and health. I specialise in functional fitness and mobility and I have a real passion to help to future proof my clients’ bodies, as well as my own!
